Mistakes I have made along the way
Yes we all make mistakes as we start out on Zazzle, I certainly have made mine. Although most I feel at the time was a lack of computer knowledge.
One of my first was not saving duplicate copies of my favourite photographs.I lost my most favourite rose photograph when I uploaded to a photograph printing site.Fortunately I do have a snap shot view of it and I can take another when that rose blooms again.
It was special and still is as it was a rose released by the Alzheimers Association of Australia in 2008,the year my mum passed away, from this horrible disease. The rose is called Forget-Me-Not,I call it my Forever rose.
A free site for you to place your photographs and save copies is Picasa. There are many other free programmes.
The photograph shown is the one I am talking about.
I uploaded to Zazzle images, where you store all images that you want to use to make products, not realising how small this copy was.I made products with no understanding at the time that Zazzle show a little warning sign, I believe it is a yellow triangle. Obviously I carried on making several products and not until some reading on image size made me look back at these products, did I realise they were all too small, thank god none had been purchased on bigger items.Whether anyone had tried I don't know,so I deleted them.
I did manage to leave an image on a business card, I had made for my sister and on a magnet.Ordinarily it is not advised to delete products that are in the Market Place.Even if you personally hate it.Reason why,it is out there with the search engines and the tags and descriptions that you put to it.You may not like it but a buyer might, they go to purchase you have deleted and you have just lost a sale.
